Facilities Overview
The Academy has comprehensive classroom and practical training facilities to deliver world class training. Our offshore wind training facilities include an olympic size swimming pool, Crew Transfer Training Vessel (CTTV), Working at Height facility and Crew Transfer Training Facility (CTTF)
Working at Heights
Located in Bresnahan Hall, our indoor Working at Height (WaH) facility is designed to deliver Global Wind Organization Basic Safety Training. Students learn proper use of personal protective equipment, safe working at height procedures, and safe and comprehensive basic rescue from height.
Crew Transfer Training Facility
Our waterfront Crew Transfer Training Facility (CTTF) is used to deliver Global Wind Organization Sea Survival Training. The CTTF simulates the transition piece of an offshore wind turbine where students learn safe transfer procedures between a vessel and a turbine as well as emergency evacuation techniques.
